The GCC has introduced a “one-stop” air travel system that allows passengers to clear a single checkpoint for travel across six member countries.

The first phase of this system will launch between the UAE and Bahrain in December 2025.

Tragic crash near Madinah — many pilgrims killed

We are saddened to share that a bus carrying Umrah pilgrims collided with a diesel/oil tanker on the Makkah–Madinah highway overnight. According to multiple news reports, around 42–45 people have died and only a small number survived. The bus reportedly caught fire after the collision; many passengers were asleep at the time.

Indian consular officials have set up a 24/7 control room in Jeddah to assist families and coordinate help. India’s Ministry and state authorities have expressed condolences and are providing consular support to victims’ families.
