The tinting violation fee in Saudi Arabia ranges from SAR 500 to SAR 900, depending on the severity of the infraction and the darkness level.
To avoid these penalties enforced by the General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor), you must adhere to the following vehicle tinting regulations:
Allowed Windows: Only the rear passenger windows and rear windshields can be tinted.

Tint Transparency: The tint applied to permitted windows must not exceed 30% darkness (it must maintain at least 70% transparency).

Prohibited Windows: The front windshield and the front driver/passenger side windows must remain completely transparent.

Prohibited Vehicles: Tinting is entirely illegal on certain vehicles, including taxis, rental cars, sports cars (single-door), and buses.

Reflective Films: Any tint that is completely opaque, mirror-like, or heavily reflective is strictly prohibited.
