جمعیت علمائے اسلام (ف) کے سربراہ مولانا فضل الرحمٰن نے 27 ویں آئینی ترمیم کو مسترد کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پارلیمنٹ میں ہمارے پارلیمانی اراکین نے اس کی مخالفت کی۔

مولانا فضل الرحمٰن نے اسلام آباد میں پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ جمعیت علمائے اسلام پاکستان کی مرکزی مجلس شوری کا دو روزہ اجلاس اسلام آباد میں ہوا، اس اجلاس میں 27 ویں آئینی ترمیم اور بعض ایسے قوانین اس دوران پارلیمنٹ میں پیش کیے گئے پاس کیے گئے اس پر تفصیلی غور کیا گیا۔

مولانا فضل الرحمٰن نے کہا کہ جمعیت علمائے اسلام نے 27 ویں آئینی ترمیم کو مکمل طور پر مسترد کردیا ہے۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پارلیمنٹ میں ہمارے ارکان نے اس کی مخالفت کی، مرکزی شوریٰ نے ارکان کے فیصلے اور 27 ویں ترمیم کی مخالفت کی توثیق کی۔

مولانا فضل الرحمٰن نے کہا کہ سب سے پہلے بنیادی مسئلے کو دیکھنا ہے، ایک سال قبل26 ویں آئینی ترمیم پارلیمنٹ میں لائی گئی اور ایک ماہ ایک ہفتہ تک جے یو آئی کے ساتھ حکومت نے مذاکرات کیے۔

ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان تحریک انصاف آن بورڈ لی گئی اور اہم آئینی ترمیم کے حوالے سے ہر پیش رفت بارے آگاہ بھی کرتے رہے، پی ٹی آئی کی تجاویز بھی 26 ویں ترمیم میں ان کی تجاویز بھی لیں اور حکومت سے منواتے رہے، 26 ویں ترمیم باہمی مشاورت سے آگے بڑھی اور کہا جاسکتا ہے کہ وہ متفقہ منظور ہوئی۔
