🍜 Chicken Chow Mein Recipe

Ingredients:
β€’ Chicken breast – 250g (thinly sliced)
β€’ Chow mein noodles – 200g (boiled)
β€’ Oil – 2–3 tbsp (vegetable or sesame oil)
β€’ Garlic – 2 cloves (finely chopped)
β€’ Ginger – 1 tsp (grated)
β€’ Onion – 1 medium (sliced)
β€’ Carrot – 1 (julienned)
β€’ Cabbage – 1 cup (shredded)
β€’ Bell pepper – 1 (sliced)
β€’ Spring onions – 2 (chopped)

For Sauce:
β€’ Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
β€’ Oyster sauce – 1 tbsp (optional)
β€’ Vinegar – 1 tbsp
β€’ Chili sauce – 1 tbsp (adjust to taste)
β€’ Black pepper – Β½ tsp
β€’ Salt – to taste
β€’ Sugar – Β½ tsp

πŸ”₯ Instructions:
1. Boil Noodles
Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.
2. Prepare Sauce
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
3. Cook Chicken
Heat oil in a wok or large pan. Add garlic and ginger, sautΓ© for a few seconds. Add chicken and stir-fry until cooked through.
4. Add Veggies
Add onions, carrots, cabbage, and bell pepper. Stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 minutes (they should stay a bit crunchy).
5. Combine Everything
Add boiled noodles to the pan, pour the sauce over, and mix well on high flame for 2–3 minutes.
6. Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle chopped spring onions and serve hot!
