Happy Sabbath Pathfinders, parents & followers! 😊

God has been good to us throughout this week & it’s already been almost a week since our hike. 🥾 It was an experience filled with both challenges & blessings. As we reflect on those memories, we thank God not only for bringing us safely through the hike, but also for keeping us throughout this entire week. 🙏🏾

Yesterday (24/05/26), our Ministry had our hike activity from Prayer Mountain to Tudubina Park. Hiking is an important skill in the Pathfinder curriculum, teaching endurance, teamwork, discipline & perseverance. ✊🏾
We started the day with prayer before covering approximately 10–15km through grass hills, forest trails, rivers & steep terrains. Along the way we took 4 rest stops, & the highlight was the rope-assisted descent down the cliff to the river. 🏞️
We arrived exhausted but satisfied & happy after an enjoyable day together. 🥾⛰️
God be praised for His protection upon us. 🤍
A shoutout also to our dedicated staff for their leadership in our memorable hike. 🤩

Part 2.
In the afternoon we held two sessions. Our YAPA Coordinator Limahl Totogi led a discussion on : Understanding Social Media Platforms & Using Them to Reflect a Pathfinder. 🤍

We then split into groups for more focused talks. The upper class boys were led by Elder Nashley Vozoto on navigating relationships, while the upper class girls were guided by Mrs Lorio Sisiolo on respect, self-esteem, & recognizing their worth. 🌸

Meanwhile our lower class Pathfinders engaged in a Bible search activity, as the earlier topics were more suited to the older group. 😄
We had a blessed sabbath & we thank God for a wonderful time spent together. 🙏🏾

Happy sabbath everyone!! 😇
For worship today, our Pathfinders & staff gathered away from church to spend intentional time together. Our aim was to mentor & guide the kids, helping them focus on Jesus the true Pathfinder & to encourage them to emulate His life & character. 🤍

We began the morning with a devotion led by our General Secretary Pr Linray Tutuo on the theme: Jesus the Master Pathfinder. ✨
Our first session followed with Dr Eric Katovai, who shared valuable insights on choosing a career path. 👨🏾‍⚕️✍️🎨👮📚🎓👏🏽

We believe these topics are essential not only for the personal development of our Pathfinders, but also for nurturing their spiritual growth and strengthening their faith. 🙏🏾
