Honiara city council law enforcement has demolished the sea front development this afternoon.

This came following a decision by council to turn down the developer Mr Hong Jun Zhang's application to develope the sea front.
But council turned down the application in a letter to Mr Zhang on the 16 the of this month.
The seafront has the Solomon Water sewage outlet and the drainage outlet of the roads running up Tasahe,Nhossi and Tinge.

Police has arrested a man who swore at Prime Minister in a video clip circulated on social media.

It was alleged Prime Minister Manaseh Sogavare has ordered police to apprehend the suspect following reports of that clip.

It was reported police arrested the suspect yesterday at White River and was remanded in custody awaiting his court appearance.

St Nicholas College has suspended it's classes for an indefinite period starting today for fears of CONVID 19.

It was alleged a suspected carrier who is a student of the school who was supposed to be confined at the quarantined locations sneaked out and did not return.

She went back to her home and attended classes instead.

This has caused fear amongst staff and students,resulted in the school administration having to suspend classes.

Four bodies were recovered on Thursday.
The body recovered on Friday was that of a nurse.Search is still continuing for the missing.

Guadalcanal Police is investigating a death at the GPPOL 1 area over the weekend.An eye witness told the The Wantok Times he nearly ran over the death body lying on the road when he drove back from GPPOL 2 early Sunday morning.The man believed to be in his early 50s was identified as a Temotuan residing at the GPPOL area.
