Daily Dose 1602 from HCFI
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the shalom of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 from ESV
Our Father, too often our worries, concerns, troubles, and stresses so preoccupy our minds that we lose sight of You. Forgive us. May we develop such childlike dependence on Your fatherly care that we turn to You first whatever the storms of life bring across our path. As a result, You will surround us with the protective shelter of Your shalom. Hallelujah!

The LORD is far from the wicked: but He hears the prayer of the righteous. ⏤ Proverbs 15:29 (NKJV)

There is no easier sin to commit than the sin of prayerlessness. It is a sin against God and against Man. ⏤ Wesley L. Duewel

O Lord, who by the example of Your apostle, has taught us to forget those things which are behind, and to reach forth unto those things which are ahead — give us grace to leave all that is past, and to press toward the mark for the prize of our high calling. Help us to lay aside every weight, and the sins which do so easily beset us — and to run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

This world draws upon us and holds us back from heavenward aspirings. May we have grace to resist these earthward drawings, and may the heavenly life win us ever toward its blessedness. May we be enabled to live more and more for the things that are unseen and eternal. Earthly things, sweet and beautiful as they are, are but for a little while. They are like the flowers which are so fragrant and lovely today — and tomorrow are faded and worthless. May these earthly blessings, which pass away, ever reveal You to us, and turn our thoughts to You. As these earthly blessings are but for a day, let us not rest in them, nor build our hopes on them — but teach us rather to rest in You and to build our hopes on the enduring rock of Your eternity. Then, come what may of earthly disaster or loss — we shall be safe and secure in You, our changeless God.

Fill our hearts with thoughts of Your love and grace, as we go forth into the world. Go before us and lead us, and help us to follow You wherever You may lead. Give us wisdom to answer all questions in the right way. Give us courage to meet difficulties and to overcome hindrances and obstacles. Give us gentle hearts that we may be a blessing to other lives. We ask all in the name of Jesus. Amen.
😊❤️

To the bereaved
To the grieving

Indeed! I have been there, l am there. I live with my losses in a one way or another! Grieving is a process! You are not alone dear Miss! The more you focus on losses the more painful it becomes!! So l keep cherishing to good moments we have had together. The good souvenirs. The good times. The happy times. The life of a candle. Putting away the photos. That the fact our loved ones are really gone and that we will meet again one day when our own time comes to live the earth.

Keeping to the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth is great: BIBLE reading, acting and living it. So these help sooth the wound of separation! My main focus is God Himself! At the centre of it all it's God that l see! So miracles happen in Jesus name. Broken hearts are healed. All in all praise God. Thank God. Revel in the love of God. God loves you much. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. Be blessed!

In a restaurant in one of the American states, the restaurant waitress handed the lunch menu to a man and his wife, and before they looked at the menu, they asked her to offer them the two cheapest dishes because they did not have enough money after not receiving their salary for several months. Due to financial challenges faced by the entity they work for.

The waitress, Sarah, didn't think long. I suggested two dishes to them and they agreed without hesitation as long as they were the cheapest. She brought the two orders and they ate them greedily, and before they left they asked the waitress for the bill. She returned to them with a piece of paper inside her billing wallet on which she wrote what it meant: “I paid your bill from my personal account out of consideration for your circumstances. This is the sum of one hundred dollars as a gift from me, and this is the least I can do for you. Thank you for your kindness. Signed by Sarah.”

The couple was very happy as they left the restaurant.
What is striking about the previous situation is that Sarah felt extremely happy to pay the couple’s food bill despite her difficult financial circumstances. She has been saving for about a year the cost of an automatic washing machine that she would like to buy, and any money she wastes will postpone the date of her acquisition of this dream device, as she washes clothes with an old washing machine.

But what saddened her most was Sarah's friend scolding her when she found out about the matter. She denounced her behavior; Because she deprivd herself and her child of money that she needed more than others to buy a washing machine.

Before remorse could seep into her after her friend’s protest against her initiative, she received a call from her mother telling her in a loud voice: “What did you do, Sarah?”
She replied in a low, trembling voice, fearing an unbearable shock: “I didn’t do anything. What happened?”
Her mother replied: “Facebook is on fire praising you and praising your behavior. Sayyed and his wife posted your message to them on Facebook after you paid the bill on their behalf and it was shared by many. I am proud of you.” ...
She had barely finished her conversation with her mother when a school friend called her indicating that her message had been circulated virally on all digital social platforms.
As soon as Sarah opened her Facebook account, she found hundreds of messages from television producers and press reporters asking to meet her to talk about her distinctive initiative.
The next day, Sarah appeared on the air of one of the most famous and most watched American television shows. The presnter of the program gave her a very luxurious washing machine, a modern television set, and ten thousand dollars. I obtained a purchase voucher for five thousand dollars from an electronics company. Gifts rained down on her until they reached more than $100,000 in appreciation of her great humanitarian behavior.

Two meals that cost her no more than a few dollars + $100 changed her life.
Generosity is not about giving what you do not need, but about giving what you most need.

True poverty is the poverty of humanity and attitudes.

Assassinated by Words

One of the fastest ways to self-destruct is to gossip! Yet, there are people who just can’t seem to help themselves and feel the need to talk about everyone. They hear the slightest bit of news and they simply can’t wait to share it with the first person they meet. You might think as long as you are telling the truth as you know it, then it’s okay! No harm done! Perhaps you saw a friend’s spouse having what appeared to be an intimate lunch and ran and told someone. Then they told someone else and the incident was told over and over, ruining this man’s reputation, causing pain to his wife and family and others. But what you didn’t know was that lady at the “intimate dinner” was his sister sharing personal heartache. Sticking your nose in someone else’s business can do a lot of damage and cause unnecessary pain. Make no mistake, the disease of “gossip” is real and deadly, not only for the people who are assassinated by words, but for you as well because there will be no gossipers in heaven! The Bible says in Psalm 101:5, “Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; the one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, him I will not endure.” God makes it very clear over and over again that He has no tolerance for gossipers. People who get pleasure from discussing other people's problems . . . are infected with a fatal illness! But praise the Lord, He has a cure! Pray David’s prayer in Psalm 141:3: “Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.” God can give you the victory over gossip! Text: Proverbs 11:13, Ephesians 4:29, Proverbs 20:19, Exodus 23:1

Freedom of Being Loved

Fear of being unloved is the basic reason for poor self-confidence, fear of moving forward, or lack of motivation. The old expression, “Love makes the world go round,” is absolutely true, because “God is love,” and without Him, life is empty, meaningless, and downright scary! Knowing with absolute certainty that you are loved gives you power to go forward with confidence and holy boldness! It allows you to open the door of uncertainty without fear and trepidation because you know God loves you and is with you! You can throw fear out the window and relax, enjoying each day . . . because you are loved! Everyone wants to be loved by family and friends, but there is no one who will love you more than Jesus! The more you spend time in prayer and studying God’s Word, the more you will know and understand just how much God loves you. Basking in the joy of His unconditional, deep, and abiding love will help you discover new courage and confidence that you never knew before! The freedom of being loved will allow you to change who you are today, and become the person God created you to be! Text: Psalm 35:9, 1 John 4:12, 19, Ephesians 5:1-2

God is Good all the time. Have a blessed in Jesus. Amen 🙏

You’re Not at a Disadvantage

Today's Scripture :
Numbers 13:33, NLT
“We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”

Today's Word :
When Moses sent twelve men to spy out the Promised Land, ten spies came back intimidated and afraid. They felt like grasshoppers because they didn’t understand that God will put you in situations where you’re the underdog. You don’t have the skill, the resources, the training, the connections. As the Israelites did, if you stay focused on what you don’t have, you’ll talk yourself out of what God has for you. The right approach is, “I may feel like a grasshopper, but I know that God being for me is greater than the world being against me.” So what do you think about what you have? Are you discounting what God has given you? God has given you the talent, the courage, the skills, the looks, and the personality you need. Don’t go through life thinking you’re at a disadvantage, that you’re lacking. People may think you’re a grasshopper, but don’t underestimate yourself. Don’t talk yourself out of the greatness God put in you. You’ll be amazed at where you can go with your talent, your courage, your faith, and your determination.

Prayer For Today :
“Father, thank You that You are always greater than any difficulty or adversity I will ever face. Thank You that You have given me everything I need to live out Your purpose for my life. I declare that I am not a grasshopper, but I am well able to go in and take the land. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

“Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit…So is everyone who is born of the Spirit” John 3: 5 – 8.

It is only the Spirit who can bring about a new birth.
Father, we pray for the stirring of the hearts of those who have not yet surrendered to You. Remove the veil of religion upon their spiritual eyes and help them to understand their need for a Savior. We pray that as the gospel is shared to them, they will see their real poverty and respond positively in Jesus’ name.
