A woman in Hai Referendum locked the toilet and told the 'Shabaab at home': ‘You have to choose food or toilet, not both!

She added that either you eat and go find a bush outside, or eat outside and come p**p here. You can't just show up from the village unannounced, eat like it’s a wedding buffet, and expect access to the toilet for free, she concluded.

The act left the neighbours both shocked and amused. Many even supported her, saying it teaches a good lesson to those who come to Juba from the village with no plan, no call, and nothing to do.

Twic Mayardit was once united and peaceful, untouched by divisions of interest when leaders like Dr. Yach, Mangok Kuot, and Dominic Dim Deng were still with us.

Today, we are left with people who can chase their own relatives out of their compound simply because they don’t serve their personal interests.

I believe cheap community politics have damaged blood relationships, bonds that should never be broken.

This situation calls for deep prayers in Seven Days Adventist Church where the entire community can come together to forgive one another and begin a new journey of unity, guided by what truly serves the common good.
