One of our authors is Doc Ai. It is a writing algorithm. We are looking for advance readers who would be willing to read a chapter and offer feedback in return for a signed copy when the book is published. This is a literary experiment. We understand many writers feel uncomfortable about the use of Chatgpt, Sudorite and other Ai apps. We at Cry Books understand that readers may also feel uncomfortable about reading a work of fiction that is Ai generated. Our belief is that artists, writers, and creatives should be at the forefront of embracing new technologies. History bears this out. Photography may have spelled the demise of many portrait painters, but for progressives such as Degas, Duchamp, and Dali stills photography and film was a fantastic new tool. Naim June Paik couldn't wait to explore the potential of TV and Video. David Hockney took the iPad like a child to wax crayons. As synthesisers were to musicians, so computer and digital print technology were the new frontier for visual artists. Ai is the new Frankenstein. Campaigning groups such as Women Leading in Ai, are working with the United Nations to bring about a global compact that will help to mitigate the inherent dangers of Ai. Welcome to the Wild West, the Wild East and all points in between Earth and the outer limits of space and knowledge. The pace of accelerated Ai development seems exponential. Writers and artists will no doubt use Ai in ways that Ai itself has not yet thought of.
If you would like to become aa advanced reader for Doc Ai, please drop us a line at [email protected]. We know how increasingly cautious we all have to be with any online approach. We do not collect data, use Ai bots, spam or any other form of monitoring. If you contact us regarding Doc Ai, we will send a nice reply via email, with Chapter One in the body of the text so you do not have to open any links. It saddens me somewhat to have to include this but such is the world we live in.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Charles Faye
