We all encounter moments of doubt, but it's during these times that consistency and improvisation truly matter. Let us tell you a story by Jenifer.
"I recall feeling overlooked in the movie industry after working on "Jenifa". Despite being paid well for the first time, no one recognized me when I traveled to Ghana. My sister’s comment, "Sister, they don’t know you," was a wake-up call that motivated me to change my approach.
To gain recognition beyond Nigeria, I decided to speak more in English while incorporating Yoruba. This shift became my turning point." (Funke Akindele)
The journey to success isn’t always direct; it requires adaptability and persistence. While you may not yet be where you want to be, the progress you're making proves that consistency and a willingness to adapt lead to remarkable achievements.
As the month ends, let's reflect on our journeys. Keep pushing forward, stay consistent, and don't hesitate to improvise, the next step might lead to your breakthrough.
