INTERCEDE FOR THEIR SALVATION

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. (2 Corinthians 4:3)

Interceding for others means to stand in the gap or to plead a case for someone. When you intercede for others, it means you’re praying for them, asking the Lord to intervene in their circumstances. Oftentimes, the primary reason we intercede for people is for their salvation.

The reason some people aren’t yet saved isn’t that they haven’t heard the Gospel but that Satan has blinded their minds. Therefore, be moved with compassion towards people and dedicate quality time to praying for them. Through your intercession, lives can be changed, and souls can be won into God’s Kingdom.

📖SCRIPTURE READING
1 Timothy 2:1-3 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

SAY THIS
Dear precious Father, I pray for those in my school, neighbourhood, and everyone around me who are yet to know you. May their hearts and minds be opened to receive the Gospel and salvation in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE LIVING WORD (LOGOS) MADE FLESH
(How The Word Of God Transforms Your Mindset)

TO THE BIBLE: John 8:43 “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”

LET’S TALK⏩️
The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1). “Logos” encompasses speech, idea, thought, and message; it is the substance of a message. John 1:14 tells us that the Word or “Logos” of God became flesh, and that’s Jesus Christ. All of God’s thoughts, ideas, and opinions are encapsulated in Him. “Lalia,” on the other hand, describes a mode of speech; it’s the way you say what you say.

This can be by gesticulations, semasiological communication, dialects or pronunciations. Jesus said to the pharisees and the Jews as they questioned His words, “Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word” (John 8:43). They didn’t understand His communication (“Lalia”) because they couldn’t comprehend His message (“Logos”). An example is found in (John 11:11-14) when He said to His disciples, “...Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up. Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.” However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep. Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead.” A similar thing happened when Jesus went to the house of Jairus, whose little daughter had just died.

The Bible says, ““Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead.” (Luke 8:52-53 KJV). The people didn’t understand His “Lalia” because they couldn’t comprehend His message. If only they knew that His message stated who He was: “...I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25). As a child of God, it’s important for you to give attention to the ministry of the Word and the Holy Spirit in the house of God. That’s how you’re cultured, trained, and taught the message of Christ. That message gives you a language—the “Lalia” of Christ.

DIVINE HEALTH: YOUR HERITAGE IN CHRIST

FRIDAY, JULY 18TH, 2025

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth (3 John 1:2)

Too often, people find themselves trapped in a cycle of illness and health issues. One week they’re in the hospital, and the next, they're at the pharmacy, seeking medications for one ailment or the other. This shouldn’t be your experience as a child of God. Don’t allow such in your life.

Refuse to allow Satan toy with your health. He's testing you. The moment Satan sees that you keep yielding to minor symptoms of sickness, he strikes with a heavier blow. But you have the power to put an end to this. Remember what Jesus said to Simon Peter: “...Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not...” (Luke 22:31-32).

Notice that the Lord didn’t say He prayed that Satan wouldn’t test Peter, but rather, that Peter’s faith wouldn’t fail. Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Today, you can settle any health issue once and for all by saying, “Enough is enough! I refuse to live a life of sickness and weakness. I lay hold of divine health because I have eternal life. I enjoy divine health because that’s the life I have in Christ.”

While, as a result of ignorance, you might have tolerated sickness in the past, it should no longer have a place in your life now that you know the truth. Some people mistakenly try to "sleep off" their ailments. But this is not the way. Don't ignore the pain or discomfort, hoping that only *“some rest” will resolve it. No. Use your faith-filled words to kill it!

Remember, your faith is the victory that overcomes the world and its debilitating influences, including sicknesses, diseases, pains, and everything of darkness. And you’re to always vocalize your faith. Use words; your tongue is your tool for control; use it to rebuke the ailment. Use it to cut out any infirmity, growth, or anomaly from your body.

Speak health and life over yourself. Then, you can rest, assured that your words have established your victory. God has empowered you to control your circumstances with your declarations. Speak life, health, and victory always.

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of divine health, my inheritance in Christ Jesus. I’m healthy and strong, and I walk in the fullness of the divine life. Every fibre of my being is inundated with eternal life. Hallelujah!

You Are “Sin-Free”

📖Romans 6:1
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Have you ever seen a “waterproof” wristwatch? These watches are specially made to withstand water. I’m sure before the manufacturer labels them as “waterproof,” they must first test and confirm that they won’t be damaged by water. In the same manner, when you were born again, God gave you a new life, and that new life makes you “sin-free.” This means that sin no longer has power over you.

The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). The new creature is the righteousness of God with power over sin, sickness, and death.

So, walk in this consciousness every day and live as the champion that God has made you.

📚Scripture Reading-1 John 5:18

Let’s Pray:
I’m a child of God and born of God; therefore, sin has no power over me. I’m the righteousness of God, and that makes me sin-free, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE KEY TO CONSISTENT VICTORY (Overcome Challenges Using God’s Word)

TO THE BIBLE - Matthew 4:4 “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

LET’S TALK⏩
Jude was facing a tough financial situation. Instead of complaining, he prayed in tongues, seeking direction from the Holy Spirit. He boldly declared words from his spirit, speaking over his situation daily. Though things seemed slow at first, he refused to waver. Soon, provision flowed in from unexpected places.

“Rhema” (Greek), translated “word,” is not applied to God talking but to man talking from God. It’s always about the Word that God gave to you to speak.
It’s that inspired Word of God uttered by you. I began to practice this very early as a Christian; I knew that for any situation, I needed to talk from God. Whatever God says about the situation will not change the situation in the earth unless I speak. So, when you face challenges, the first thing is to be in sync with the Holy Spirit.

This alignment allows you to speak exactly the words needed at that moment to effect a change. As you pray in tongues, tune in with your spirit and have your spiritual antennae raised to receive divine insight. Maintain this posture until you receive the exact word needed for the situation, and the moment you do, speak it forth with confidence, knowing it’s God talking through you. The Word of God in your mouth is God talking.

Remember what God said to Moses when He appointed Aaron to assist him: “Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. So he shall be your spokesman to the people. And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God” (Exodus 4:15-16 NKJV). That was God’s original plan for Moses—to both receive and proclaim His Word— to talk from God. Practice this and use it to overcome every challenge, subdue adversaries and adversities, and live triumphantly every day.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL ~ PASTOR CHRIS

THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE

THURSDAY, JULY 17TH, 2025

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life (1 John 5:20).

The Lord Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life. That, indeed, is who the Messiah was supposed to be. Generations of prophets foretold His coming, and when Jesus came and declared Himself the Christ—God manifested in human form—many rejected Him, accusing Him of blasphemy.

But He was right. Titus 2:13-14 NKJV refers to Him as our great God and Saviour who gave Himself for us: “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” No religious leader matches these credentials but our Lord Jesus Christ.

All the leaders of various religions died and remained dead. Only Jesus Christ resurrected and ascended to heaven alive. It’s only His Name that has power to cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and raise the dead.

Furthermore, the remission of sins is only possible through Jesus Christ. Acts 13:38-39 NKJV says, “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” 1 John 5:11-12 NKJV says, “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

Jesus is the only one to give His life for all humanity; He gave His divine life so you could have eternal life. Now, because you’ve received Him, your natural human life has been supplanted by the God-life; you’re now born of God: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:12-13). He gave us eternal life because He’s Himself eternal life. Jesus is the true God and eternal life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of the deity of Jesus Christ and the power in His Name. I live in the consciousness of His authority, exercising dominion over the forces of darkness and manifesting the victory of Christ in all that I do. I declare that my faith is effective, and through His Name, I enjoy unending success and righteousness in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Genesis 12:2 NLT
I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.

As a child of God, you’re the seed of Abraham. That means, you’re a blessing to others. Let everyone who meets you leave your presence happier. Be the one who gives care and love to everyone—including those who may have offended you. Always remember that you were blessed to be a blessing.

In the parable of Jesus in Luke 10:30-35, it was only the Samaritan that stopped to help the wounded man. The Priest and the Levite passed him but didn’t do anything. Only this Samaritan showed kindness; he was a blessing to the wounded man.

In all you do, treat others well, give care and love, and be of help to those in need around you.

A BETTER COVENANT
(We’ve Been Justified From All Things)

TO THE BIBLE - Acts 13:38-39 “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.”

LET’S TALK⏩️
Before Jesus came, there was something called the Law of Moses. It wasn’t given to everyone, just to the people of Israel. If you wanted to be right with God and be blessed, you had to follow all of the Law perfectly. That was the only way to be considered righteous. But no one could keep all of it. And even if they tried, the Law couldn’t give them real life or make them perfect.

The Bible talks about this in Hebrews 7:18-19: “For on the one hand, there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness, for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.” In simple terms: the old rules couldn’t fix things, but something better was coming.

Hebrews 8:7 says: “For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.” In other words, if the Law had worked perfectly, there wouldn’t have been a need for something new.

Paul explains in Galatians 3:21 that the Law wasn’t bad; it just wasn’t powerful enough to give people true life: “For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.” And in Romans 8:3, he breaks it down even more: “For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son.” Basically, because people were weak and couldn’t keep the Law, God sent Jesus to do what the Law never could— set us free.

That’s why Jesus brought a new and better covenant (or agreement) between us and God. Hebrews 8:6 says: “But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.”

Jesus made this new covenant by giving His life for us. He paid the ultimate price with His own blood. And because of His sacrifice, we don’t have to try to earn righteousness by keeping a bunch of impossible rules. Jesus gave us His righteousness as a free gift!

Through Him (Jesus Christ), we’ve been justified from all things from which we couldn’t be justified by the Law of Moses. Blessed be God!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, DAILY DEVOTIONAL ~ PASTOR CHRIS

THE REMARKABLE DEATH OF JESUS

WEDNESDAY, JULY 16TH, 2026

And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God (Mark 15:39).

The death of Jesus was extraordinary and filled with supernatural events that also confirmed His deity. After being falsely accused, arrested, and crucified, Jesus hung on the Cross while the chief priests, scribes, and elders mocked Him (Matthew 27:42-43). Even the two thieves crucified alongside Him joined in the mockery (Matthew 27:44, Mark 15:32).

Then, from the sixth hour (noon) to the ninth hour (3 p.m.), darkness covered the whole earth. This supernatural darkness lasted for three hours, signifying something beyond the natural realm. At about the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” Which means, “...My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46).

This was the moment when the sins of the whole world were laid upon Jesus. The Father, who is too holy to behold sin (Habakuk 1:13), turned His back, and Jesus, who had never been separated from the Father, cried out in anguish. This separation was the cup Jesus prayed about in the Garden of Gethsemane when He said, “...O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me...” (Matthew 26:39).

It was not death He dreaded but separation from the Father, which was a result of Him becoming sin for humanity. The Bible says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Then, with a loud voice, He said, “...Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit...” (Luke 23:46).

Jesus commanded His own death. He consciously and deliberately handed over His spirit to the Father. Jesus had earlier declared, “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again... I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again...” (John 10:17-18).

When Jesus yielded up the ghost, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, signifying the removal of the barrier between God and humanity, granting us access to the Father’s presence. Even the centurion overseeing the crucifixion, upon witnessing how Jesus died, declared, “...Truly this man was the Son of God” (Mark 15:39).

The manner of His death testified of His divinity. Jesus' death was no ordinary death. It was the ultimate sacrifice that brought salvation to all mankind.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the death of Jesus, whose blood was the propitiation for sins. I rejoice in the finished work of Christ, knowing that He laid down His life for me and took it up again in victory. I live triumphantly, enjoying the benefits of His sacrificial love, now and always. Amen.

THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT
(Live With Expectation Of The Lord’s Soon Return)

TO THE BIBLE - 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

LET’S TALK⏩️
One day soon, maybe even today, something big is going to happen. The Rapture of the Church. It’s going to be sudden, faster than you can blink. People will be living life like normal, scrolling through their feeds, hanging out with friends, going to class, working, and in an instant, everyone who’s been born again, everyone who’s chosen to follow Jesus will check out of this world.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 says, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.” There will be two trumpet sounds. Only those who died believing in Jesus will hear the first one and they’ll rise from the dead. Then the second trumpet sound will follow—the last one—and that’s when we who are alive and remain shall suddenly be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. The Lord will descend from heaven, but He won’t touch down on the earth. He’ll be waiting for us in the air. And in that split second, we will be transformed from terrestrial to celestial beings. We’ll be out of here.

Imagine the chaos after we’re gone. News reports. Social media blowing up with questions. “Where did they go?” “What just happened?” But the truth is already in the Bible. Sadly, a lot of people will realise too late that they should have believed in Jesus.

So, what does this mean for us right now? It’s time to go all in for Jesus. Love Him with your whole heart. Live for Him like never before. None of the stuff we chase after here—money, fame, cars, clothes, followers—none of it will matter once we’re gone. Only what we did for Jesus will count. This isn’t some sci-fi story or a wild conspiracy. It’s real, and it’s coming. It could be any moment. So be ready. Stay focused on what matters. Live your best life for Jesus. Stay consistent. Keep making a difference for God.
