Changes : DVLA questionnaire

College secures change in law 🚗👁️

Following our discussions with the , the Government will be amending the Road Traffic Act to allow to complete DVLA medical questionnaires for their patients – an important issue that members have raised with us.

This is a very positive step forward in acknowledging the expertise of optometrists alongside other healthcare professionals. We are working through the detail of what these changes will mean in practice and will keep you advised.
