I used to think upgrading my monitor would upgrade my mindset. It didn’t at least not the way I expected.
The desk looks cleaner. The space feels tighter. But the distraction? Still there. The anxiety? Still hums in the background.
What actually helped? Replacing the pressure to be “hyper-productive” with permission to just exist at the desk. The candle’s not just for mood it’s a signal to stop performing.
Setup changes are easy. Internal ones aren’t.
I’ll keep tweaking both. So be it, So be it.
