Aurea Records is a forward thinking London based techno Label founded by Burden and DLTN, and a team of young professionals with a wealth of varied experiences in music business and event management. Driven by a penchant for techno, and a belief that it is an honour and a privilege to contribute to the music scene, the label pays homage by aspiring to become the essential space for innovative, dri

ving and hypnotic techno. The label is named and inspired by the golden ratio (also called Divina Proportio); the geometrical proportion which is “the ground principle of all formative striving for beauty and completeness in the realms of both nature and art”. The golden spiral surfaces repeatedly, from our DNA to a dominant principle of music composition. As the golden ratio grows in a spiral maintaining the same proportions, Aurea Records looks to grow its sound and artists while representing and retaining their inherent nature and energy. We will bring you 161 releases, with every release on the label named “phi”, the Greek letter representing the golden ratio : quality music is our constant. Facilitating expression. The unifying power of music creates a cycle where the inspired becomes the artist, who is intuitively driven towards further inspiration, transforming it into creation. Aurea Records is committed to, supports and believes in its artists. We seek to facilitate the interrelationship between techno lovers by investing in inspirational well-versed producers, as well as new talent backed by established remixers. We provide branding, promotion and exposure, offering showcases and label nights, and most importantly creating a familiar and authentic environment for likeminded people and true techno lovers.
