Search up "British Asian Actor" on Google and what do you see?

The first 20 results are South Asian actors, with the 23rd result finally showing Lourdes Faberes as the first East Asian British Actress.

Is it a case that we do not have enough representation in the UK for the East Asian casts? Why is it when british people refer to "Asian" they would immediately assume it's people from the South East?

There are over 3 MILLION of us residing in the UK so why is it so much harder for us to gain the recognition that we work so hard for?

We want to use this platform to recognise UK East Asian Talent, Artists, Designers, Musicians, Actors, Business Owners, Influencers. Let's build and grow a community because people need to know what the UK Asians are about!!
