Two staff members at an Asda store in Shipley, England are being praised after they helped save a man’s life when he collapsed in the pharmacy.

The man, in his 30s, stopped breathing and had no pulse. Pharmacist Faisal quickly called 999, and when the man’s condition got worse, he started CPR. His colleague Ben, stepped in to help. Together, they took turns doing chest compressions until help arrived.

Faisal said, “I was scared, but I’m so glad he came round. I’ve done training before, but this was the first time I used it on a real person.”

Ben added, “I didn’t expect to need my training so soon, but I’m glad I could help.”
