Western Media: Silent on Palestinian Suffering, Loud on Israeli Propaganda.

This is Ibrahim Al-Shawish, a Palestinian teacher who was detained by Israeli forces. Clearly there was inhumane treatment, torture, and neglect that he endured at the hands of the Israeli occupation. Yet, Western media remains obsessed with speculating on the conditions of Israeli hostages while ignoring the brutal reality faced by thousands of Palestinian prisoners.

- Where are the human rights organisations?
- Where is the international outcry?
- Why does the West only recognise suffering when it fits their agenda?

The systematic abuse, starvation, and torture of Palestinian prisoners is the norm under Israeli apartheid. Yet, the same Western powers that claim to champion human rights refuse to acknowledge this suffering.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, Nishtar Saleem, a distinguished lawyer, dedicated husband, father, son, and a tireless servant of the Ummah.

As the co-founder of Saracens Solicitors, Nishtar combined his remarkable legal expertise with a deep sense of justice and compassion, earning widespread respect and admiration from all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His contributions extended far beyond his professional life. His steadfast commitment to supporting da’wah organisations in their fight for equal rights and their efforts to challenge Islamophobia was a cornerstone of his work.

Nishtar worked tirelessly to defend the rights of Muslims and ensure that our community could thrive in the face of adversity.

Known for his humility and dedication to helping others, he embodied the values of a true believer.

In all his endeavours, professional and voluntary, he was and still remains a source of inspiration and hope, leaving behind a legacy of service, sincerity, and excellence that will continue to benefit the community for years to come.

We pray that Allah (subḥānahu wa ta’āla) grants him the highest ranks in Jannat al-Firdaws, forgives his shortcomings, and showers him with His boundless mercy. May Allah also grant patience, strength, and comfort to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Israel seeking Gaza ceasefire collapse? The truce between the Zionist regime and Hamas is under threat due to Israel's complete failure to ensure ceasefire terms are met. Reports have warned that thousands of food trucks have yet to enter the besieged region, with only 15 fuel trucks being received on a daily basis while 50 were actually agreed. In addition, the delivery of 200,000 tents was noted in the agreement, but only a tenth has been received.

Another win for the BDS movement. The former owner and operator of KFC and Pizza Hut in Türkiye has filed for bankruptcy, with debts amounting to $214 million.
