Many autistic people, including me, have alexithymia or ‘emotion blindness’. This doesn’t mean we lack emotions but that we struggle to articulate and be aware of what we are feeling. It can mean we only notice emotions when they are extreme. It can be a very difficult thing to live with especially as not many people seem to know about it.

I’m just me.
I’m not perfect, I’m me. I’ve made bad decisions and wrong choices, but I’m me.I’ve said the wrong things, I’ve said the right things, because I’m me. I don’t like everything I’ve done, but I did it because I’m me. I’ve loved the wrong people and trusted the wrong people and I’m still me.
If I had the chance to start again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Why? Because I’m me. There are a lot of good things about me, you just need to look past the imperfections to see what’s right. If you can’t do that then it’s your loss. I’m the best I can be. I am ME.

Anyone else got a thing about collecting US licence plates? Some of these are real used plates and others are obvious film, TV or other memorabilia. Real ones include both Montana plates (BHX031 & 6•43617B), Illinois (PU 1212), California (9CMX352), Iowa (AEW 725), Florida (JCK G38), Texas (MJR•1917), Mississippi (DB F0001), Nebraska (2136), Alabama (DT15433 - Dealer Transit) & Colorado (822 DGA).
