Happy 10th birthday TPTV. It's hard to believe that Talking Pictures TV is 10 years old today. That's a decade of classic films and telly, expertly curated and presented by Noel and Sarah Cronin.

It's great to work with you. Many happy returns. Here's to the next 10 fabulous years.

An awesome weekend lined up in Whitstable, celebrating the life and work of the wonderful Peter Cushing. Our doc Peter Cushing Behind the Camera is being screened a few times, followed by a Q&A. Can't wait. Two days of fun and memories. Why not treat yourself to a few Whitstable Oysters while you're there, I intend to!

Great evening the British Film Editors' Cut Above Awards at the BFI Southbank. Great also to see Sir Ken Branagh present editor Úna Ní Dhonghaíle ACE, BFE with the outstanding achievement award.

Huge congratulations to all the nominees and winners. A big shout out to all the long list entrants too.

The event was a wonderful celebration of the many professionals who everyday are seamlessly crafting the moving image. Thank you to all the sponsors and supporters.

Blimey! We're up for an award. Our weekly show THE FOOTAGE DETECTIVES that we love producing for Talking Pictures TV every Sunday is nominated for BEST FACTUAL SHOW in the TV Choice Awards 2025. It's a big team effort and a nomination is for the whole amazing team. Simply awesome.

And, as if that's not enough, TPTV, the UK's best telly channel are, quite rightly, nominated for FAVOURITE CHANNEL in the awards too. Very exciting. First round of voting closes on 15th Oct. Let's get voting !!

Actor, writer, director Bryan Forbes' lifetime achievement BAFTA awarded to him in 2007.

Our new film, TOGETHER FOREVER, celebrating the lives and work of Nanette Newman and Bryan Forbes, is on this Friday, 29th Dec, at 4.05pm.

Our new documentary, Nanette Newman & Bryan Forbes: Together Forever, narrated by Sir Derek Jacobi, which is on Talking Pictures TV on Monday 18th December at 7pm, is recommended viewing in next week's Total TV Guide, who've marked it, quite rightly, 'Don't Miss'. Tune in if you can.
