The New Current was set up in 2009 & since then TNC has covered Glastonbury, Edinburgh Fringe, Dour Festival, Big Chill, The Olivier Awards, and the MGEITV. Our site is very different to other student media sites in that we are not only very inclusive and have students from all over the UK part of our team, but are 100% independent. Not being affiliated with any Student Union or University means w
e can give totally impartial news and features. This 2010 has already proven to be incredible for us with over 67,000 unique hits over the summer alone has meant we have been able to reach even more people and get more students become part of our growing team. There is nothing stopping us from being the best student news group in the UK and with the team we have we are fast on our way to achieving it.
