Haven't quite managed to rescue my set from the Red Bull stage earlier in the afternoon (yet) but if you were wondering what I played after CMAT and before Kneecap on the main stage at Wide Awake this year, look no further. Not going to lie, it's been a tough year for gigs. Probably the slowest since 2011. Still hasn't prevented me from buying lots of new music though, so here's a few highlights from 2023.

Plenty motivation to get back out there next year, so if you happen to be a promoter or a venue reading this, can I just say how great you're looking these days 🤩

Dug out some mostly older downtempo tunes for Wide Awake a while back. Didn't play any of them on the day, but did yesterday and they sounded pretty good together. Of course there's the odd exception, but it wouldn't be a mix of mine without a couple of duff transitions.

Some tunes and some textbook shambolic mixing in parts (it had been a while) from the first few hours on Saturday night. It was early doors so kept it quite jazzy.
