Flowers for Turing is now live for 2025!
We've been emailing people, fixing up websites and doing all the little jobs that have to be done to make sure that all the t's are crossed and all the i's are dotted and we are finally ready to start taking pledges for 2025.

On 23rd June, we'll surround Alan Turing's Statue with flowers, while raising money for the always amazing SpecialEffect

We got a nice bit of press for one of our prison books at https://1919magazine.co.uk/april2024/?i=14 this week.

The book they describe involved eight men who, despite their circumstances, collaborated on a novel aimed (and starring!) at their children. The process not only enhanced their literacy and self-concept but also significantly improved their family relationships. Over a week, these men took on the challenge of writing a complete book, which culminated in a heartwarming book signing event attended by their families.

The prisoners' story, set in the magical world of Mysticus, is not just a tale of adventure but a reflection of their personal growth and renewed connections with their loved ones. One child inspired by the project even dressed as her character from the book for World Book Day!
