Now marks the long awaited arrival of “DRAKOSOPHIA”, the bands 5th full-length album in which Belfagor is joined by North American vocalist “Adeptus”, Austrian session drummer “Florian Musil”, and bass by the one and only “Devo” ex-Marduk.

“DRAKOSOPHIA” is genuine Orthodox Black Metal, a subgenre that Belfagor forged nearly 30 years ago as a vessel for Theistic Satanism/ Left hand path esotericism in sonic form.

Invoked right from the beginning “DRAKOSOPHIA” is both classic OFERMOD and a continual unfolding of their unique characteristic sound, dynamically sinister and vigorously menacing.

REGAIN RECORDS is proud to present a long-overdue reissue of the lone EP from Sweden's CARDINAL SIN, Spiteful Intents, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Released in that fateful year of 1996 on Wrong Again Records - the precursor label to REGAIN, who released pivotal early works by In Flames, Arch Enemy, Naglfar, and Eucharist among others - CARDINAL SIN's Spiteful Intents was a short but all-too-sweet display of lethally melodic, seared-black death metal. Which is not all that surprising given that the band was formed by former Dissection founder/guitarist John Zwetsloot - so naturally, black tentacles of majesty fully enwrap Spiteful Intents, CARDINAL SIN's lone recording after a promo in 1995. Fully embracing (and leading, albeit shortly) the sound of the day, Spiteful Intents is also considerable for numbering two early/classic Marduk members: Jocke Göthberg on vocals & drums, and Devo Andersson on guitars/bass. As a special bonus, three tracks – including a cover of Death’s “Infernal Death” – from the same studio session, once lost to time, have now been added, altogether making for nearly a half-hour of nostalgic black / death. A simpler time, but an undeniably classic time forever etched into legendary...the past is alive!

MOVING OFFICE-WAREHOUSE UPDATE!!!!
The last 3 weeks we´ve been moving the office/warehouse to a new location. During this period we´ve had somewhat limited internet access. The moving together with the fact that all inventory´s been packed down in boxes has limited our abilities to uphold the daily business routines during moving. This has also delayed some of the order processing, so we haven´t been able to pack/ship orders in a timely manner.

We´re of course terribly sorry to those of you who´re still waiting for their orders to be shipped, but this move was a necessary step for us since the previous office/warehouse facility was basically falling apart, so we´re relived to finally find a proper office & warehouse for the company. All though a lot of work remains with putting all stock, products & inventories in order we´ll continue shipping orders so once again, thank you for your patience and your order will be with you asap!

THE MOULD MAG CRONICLES - BOOK RELEASE UPDATE!!!

After a long delay we finally have some updates on the release of the Mould Mag book.
Today we received the CREMATORY 7" (100 red + 200 black) which will go as bonus with the first 300 copies of the book. Also to be completed with a fold out cover.

We are currently waiting for a date from the book printing company on a date when we´ll receive the books, we´ll keep you posted.

Mould Mag book, written by Perra Karlsson and edited by Janne Stark. Featuring 206 pages and a bonus 7” from Sweden’s CREMATORY.

A short-lived yet classic fanzine, Mould released its first issue in 1990, and featured among its pages interviews with Entombed, Grave, Necrophobic, Sweden’s Grotesque, and Finland’s Abhorrence among others–a veritable time capsule of this pioneering era of extreme metal. Helmed by Karlsson–who was drumming for Sweden’s Suffer at the time and would go on to have a prolific drumming career, which continues to this day, for the likes of In Aeternum, Nominon, and Destroyer666 among many others – Mould would continue for three more issues over the next few years, featuring in its pages the likes of Bolt Thrower, Dissection, Cynic, Deicide, Mortician, Vital Remains, Sadus, Macabre, Nocturnus, Disembowelment, Convulse, Deceased, Sweden’s Merciless, America’s Baphomet, and Rottrevore among many, MANY others as well as hundreds upon HUNDREDS of reviews. A crucial document of the burgeoning death metal movement, Mould was part of the lifeline – namely, fanzines and tape trading – that would help spread this movement and its influence worldwide, and this book collects all four issues in their entirety. Also included are recollections of the era by the author himself as well as members of Grave, Entombed, Sweden’s Toxaemia, and other members of the early Scandinavian death metal scene.

HELTER SKELTER PRODUCTIONS (distributed & marketed by REGAIN RECORDS) is proud to present WULKANAZ's highly anticipated fifth album, Luftuz, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

For over 15 years now, selfsame mainman Wulkanaz - mastermind Wagner Ödegård (aka Komulonimbus), a man of many creative guises, including labelmates DUGHPA and MAUVET MAUVE - has pursued a singular, idiosyncratic vision of black metal across myriad demos, EPs, and splits. WULKANAZ's four albums to date, however, have been become cult classics among the diehards brave enough to behold the mainman's visions, and those visions have hit interstellar overdrive with the band's long-awaited fifth album, Luftuz.

Raw on the surface but psychedelically layered, Luftuz immediately sounds like WULKANAZ – and yet, it orbits its own strange galaxy altogether. Joining Ödegård is session drummer Calle Larsson, who played on OFERMOD's Mysterium Iniquitatis among others, and together do they passionately play a malevolently swirling, frequently bewildering plunge into the depths of madness - deeper than ever, in fact. Sounds seemingly explode from every direction, and what may sound like normal riffs or rhythms soon get tweaked into rude shapes, with hazy fuzz hovering over nearly everything, only to often get stripped back into startlingly skeletal quietude. Of course, black metal undoubtedly forms the base, but WULKANAZ characteristically exude an acute punkishness in ex*****on, with the previously folkish melodicism taking a more ominous (and stomping) approach more often than not.

Previous WULKANAZ songs reveled in the barest-of-bones minimalism, delivered in rapid-fire succession. By comparison, Luftuz is almost the sound of the duo going "maximal," with all but two of the ten tracks here reaching beyond three minutes and one even over five: quite the sea change, given that songs rarely hit three minutes before! Likewise, the vintage synths that Ödegård employs in the aforementioned projects take a prominent role on Luftuz, malformed into something sorta resembling guitar - or, again, something strange and cosmic that's fever-dreaming to behold - and everything consequently sounds BIG and expansive, just like space itself. But even beyond the sounds WULKANAZ utilize here, Luftuz shows that the band are astute songwriters...just ones operating on a wild wavelength all their own, now more than ever.

The self-titled album from 2018 encapsulated the Wulkanaz aesthetic that had existed from the beginning, bringing it to a fever pitch. Far from abandoning that unapologetic idiosyncrasy, the band have managed to boldly build upon it and expand their alien language, both leaving the past behind and embarking upon frontiers both verdant and virulent: this is Luftuz!
