A new website for the conference is currently being built and Initial abstract submission will open on this website on January 1st 2023 and close on February 28 2023. Following the submission period, the Scientific Advisory Board will select those contributions that will be included in the conference, and successful applicants will then be asked to register. We are really looking forward to seeing you in Sweden in 2023!

Please note that the dates for ICIV 2023 have been changed! Due to a clash with another conference, we had to move the conference by a few days. The new dates are:

27/7 (arrival) to 3/8 (departure) – 2023.

Our conference finished last Monday, and only now are we coming down to Earth after the best week of science and fun imaginable. Thanks everyone who came to Bäckaskog and for once again making ICIV one of the landmark conferences in the field of invertebrate vision! We miss you all already, and already look forward to the 5th ICIV that is tentatively planned for August 2023. Our warmest regards and best wishes! Eric, Dan, Therese and Lina

The conference books have arrived! 😃 Only a few days left to the conference. We are so excited!

The conference is now only 5 weeks away (August 5-12th)!!!

We have a rich program of 77 lectures (divided into 4 sessions), and 71 posters (with 2 dedicated viewing sessions), and we are all looking forward to an exciting and very rewarding week!

The 16-member Scientific Program Committee has now assessed the 153 abstracts submitted to the conference and made a preliminary list of conference participants. These selected participants are now encouraged to register for the conference.

Registration is now open, and will close on June 1st, 2019.

The Fourth International Conference on Invertebrate Vision is now being planned, and is scheduled for August 5-12th in 2019 – and again at Bäckaskog Castle in Sweden! Because of the growing popularity of the conference, and our limited space for delegates, we have once again appointed a Scientific Advisory Board of men and women from the field, to decide on a fair and open system for maintaining the size and scientific quality of this and future conferences.

Abstract submission – which will once again be handled online by Frontiers Events - will open on January 1st 2019 and close on February 28th 2019. Following this submission period, the Scientific Advisory Board will select those contributions that will be included in the conference, and successful applicants will be asked to register.
