Lamour run club nights and a record label within a broad scope of electronic music culture. Expanding expressions within dance related electronica, poppy electro, dark ambient, contemporary art music, improvised live-electronic music and electroacoustic music. The club is run by Slim Vic and Thomas Bjelkeborn, and the Label is run by Slim Vic. In 2011 activities moved to Fylkingen in Stockholm and

since then the main purpose is promoting a broad span of electronic culture. Slim Vic have joined forces with curator/musician/composer Thomas Bjelkeborn to ensure a limitless, vivid, relaxed and international feel to the club. UPDATE: since november 2013 the club has a another venue for regular events at Café Foajé (Spegeln) Gävle. The label publish various forms of electronic music on vinyl, CD and as digital downloads. There is no definitive answer to what the label will produce as the electronic music world and the taste of the curators are constantly changing. Many of the associated artists can be found as podcasts on soundcloud though this FB page. Lamour was formed in 2008 by DJ Slim Vic as a club for new and upcoming electronica artists and DJ's.

Finally on vinyl and streaming! The music from Henrik Fexeus performance Mentalisten (The Mentalist) – specially written and composed Dag Rosenqvist. 😀

The music was created and developed in parallel with the performance, and was shaped in conjunction with the story, the set design, and the lighting. The result was a relaxed and personal sound world, which bears traces of both melancholy, nostalgia, and closeness, like a kind of musical memory.

With a pedal organ and piano as central instruments, Rosenqvist has created a sound that feels organic, ancient, and warm – a musical reminder of our memories, our roots, and those who came before us.

The second release on our sublabel Folk Lamour is out now!
Slim Vic & Görgen Antonsson - Torsåkersvalsen.
Torsåker, once the heart of Gästrikland’s mining district, is a small town in Hofors municipality with a rich history.
Torsåkersvalsen is a traditional folk tune that Görgen and Slim have reimagined for today, blending driving three-beat techno with the waltz’s powerful melodies.

The piano parts were recorded in Torsåker by Sara Fridholm, while the atmospheric night-time field recordings were captured by Christopher Andersson Bång on an April night.

It's finally here! Musically, Comfort Module and their debut album Undertone could be described as a lovechild of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails if that child grows up listening to Kent and secretly makes out with IAMX behind the school gym.
“I know we have a retro sound,” says Henrik. “But it’s not ironic or calculated. It’s just where we feel at home. We grew up in that era and love the sound.”

Straighten your back and have a nice weekend!
Since the 90s, Norrköping has become known for having extremely low tables in techno contexts. This has led to several banana-like stage performances that have often led to more or less temporary back problems. This uncommented fact is the basis for this EP.
Whether this is true or not is irrelevant, it could be that Motormännen have been to far too many underground clubs in Eastern Europe recently. Hard, dark and uncompromising music for dancing into the late hours.

Finally Friday and time to celebrate a new release!
The first single from the album Undertone. The song that was never meant to be released at all leaked and flourished on underground dance floors.
It Falls Apart was one of the first songs the duo wrote and now it will be the starting point of their musical journey.
