Lamour run club nights and a record label within a broad scope of electronic music culture. Expanding expressions within dance related electronica, poppy electro, dark ambient, contemporary art music, improvised live-electronic music and electroacoustic music. The club is run by Slim Vic and Thomas Bjelkeborn, and the Label is run by Slim Vic. In 2011 activities moved to Fylkingen in Stockholm and

since then the main purpose is promoting a broad span of electronic culture. Slim Vic have joined forces with curator/musician/composer Thomas Bjelkeborn to ensure a limitless, vivid, relaxed and international feel to the club. UPDATE: since november 2013 the club has a another venue for regular events at Café Foajé (Spegeln) Gävle. The label publish various forms of electronic music on vinyl, CD and as digital downloads. There is no definitive answer to what the label will produce as the electronic music world and the taste of the curators are constantly changing. Many of the associated artists can be found as podcasts on soundcloud though this FB page. Lamour was formed in 2008 by DJ Slim Vic as a club for new and upcoming electronica artists and DJ's.

Väderöarna is an instrumental ambient piece shaped by distance and stillness. The layers of sound move like a remote cluster of rocks far out at sea, where the horizon feels endless and time seems non-existent.

Once home to a lighthouse, now a quiet outpost for wind, pressure, and passing fronts, Väderöarna has long been a place of observation rather than presence. A voice in the shipping forecast. A name spoken, then carried away.

The music lingers in that space — between exposure and calm, between solitude and beauty. Sparse and patient, weathered by silence, it drifts like light across cold water. Everything awaits. Keep your eye out for the beacon.

Árstraumur’s DFD21 Transmission draws on fragments from an intercepted number station broadcast from the cold war, referencing a time when messages were transmitted without recipients and meaning was deliberately obscured. The piece exists as a trace rather than a statement, circling ideas of secrecy, distance, and information detached from explanation. What remains is the presence of a signal whose purpose has already disappeared.
