Take 10 Press Library is going on the road 🚉

In May and June, the T10P Library will travel to a few events to share the growing collection of zines and self-published books donated by artists and small publishers over the past couple of years.

Where we'll be:

📍 May 25 at "Personlig fotoboksfestival i miniformat" organised by CFF and Goethe-institutet in Stockholm

📍 June 13-15 at "Juxtapose" in Århus

If you’ve made a zine or publication and would like to donate a copy to the library, you're very welcome to do so. It’ll be part of the mobile collection and shown at the events we take part in.

Make sure they arrive well before each event — that’s:
→ May 20th for Stockholm
→ June 7th for Århus

The first in a new series of interviews, this conversation with Erik Viklund traces the connections between images, writing, and materiality in his practice. The Take 10 Press Library is a donation-based, nomadic collection of zines, photobooks, and independent publications, gathering and sharing the works of those contributing to the collection. Rooted in Göteborg's artistic scene, the library features works from artists across Scandinavia and internationally. All submitted works are documented and uploaded on the Take 10 Press website (www.take10press.com), contributing to an expanding digital archive of contemporary image-based publications, alongside a shop for those who want to sell their books.

While it will continue to move and appear in different places, when not on the road, the T10P Library has found a home at , an independent bookshop based in Göteborg.

✨ Huge thanks to everyone who came to the event on Saturday! ✨ It was truly special to share this moment with you all and to introduce the Take 10 Press Library in its new home at Pony Books.

I’m so grateful for this opportunity — having a space where the library can live while still remaining nomadic is something I’ve been hoping for, and I couldn’t be happier. A big thank you to Cathryn and Pony Books for making this possible and for their support in independent publishing!

Exciting things are coming in the next few days, and more events and activities might be happening at Pony Books in the future, so stay tuned! 📚👀

📚✨ Take 10 Press Library has found a home! ✨📚

Join us on Saturday, 25th January, from 17:00 to 19:00, as we officially welcome the Take 10 Press Library to its new home at Pony Books ! 🎉

Whether you're a Pony Books member, a self-publishing enthusiast, or just curious to explore the Take 10 Press Library, we’d love to see you there. During the event, the library and its collection of donated works will be introduced to the public and insights into the world of image-based self-publishing will be shared, with an open conversation for members and visitors to exchange ideas - possibly even sparking a discussion about forming a photobook study circle. Of course, the amazing selection of books already in the Pony Books bookshop will also be part of the experience, making it an even richer opportunity to explore and connect!

Take 10 Press Library is always open for submissions! 📥

Over the past few years, the T10P Library has been growing thanks to its amazing contributors. Every publication donated gets digitized and uploaded to the T10P website, making it accessible to a global audience 🌍. Plus, all submissions are showcased whenever a pop-up event is organized.

Take 10 Press is particularly interested in image-based publications (with a focus on photographic practices) to explore and celebrate non-text-based ways of reading and meaning-making.

A huge thank you to all who joined the event at Skogen yesterday to explore Take 10 Press Library and dive into the debut volume of Among Echoes. It has been nice seeing known and new faces 🙂

A heartfelt thank you extends to the growing contributors of the library and also to the five talented artists featured in Among Echoes: Johan Andrén, Henrik Wejfeldt, Fredrika Wigren, Camilla Fredin, Maria Anchugova.
