Legendary gothenburg band Perkele just released their new album, the fourth one we do together. Recorded and mixed by me here at Top Floor with help from Ronnie on the guitars and Jonas on vocal duties and opinions. Masterful mastering by Tony at Fascination Street, and cool album cover by KJ Melgoza.

Had a great time doing pre-production and recording on this album with Sole Syndicate. Figuring out how the two singers should sing in order to make it a duet was a lot of fun. Masterfully mixed by Robin Leijon.

I’m too young to have been part of that OG movement, that first wave of pioneers. But a lot of what I do builds on that. And lucky me, those guys were always nice to me (and they still are) when I was a young nobody in Gothenburg. Tompa included. And talk about being one of the OGs, damn. You will be missed by people and artists alike. Thanks for the huge impact on all of us.
