Starting a new chapter with Makthaverskan 🖤

After four albums that left their mark on post-punk and dreamy indie pop, the band is now in the studio putting the finishing touches on their fifth record. The first single drops November 28th, with more tracks leading up to the album release April 3rd, 2026.

In just a short time, they’ve made a name for themselves in Gothenburg’s underground, selling out venues like Pustervik and Oceanen with sweaty, unpredictable live shows.
Today they release their new single “Godstar” – a feverish, dance-driven take on Psychic TV’s cult classic, both homage and deconstruction. A track for those who believe the night should be a little longer and a lot more destructive.
