“The full moon shined over Kalmar that evening. I was running along a dark pier down by the harbor.” – A Trouble Within the Mind, (Intro, Short story version), (Chapter 4, Novel version).

Sunday October 5th 2014. The evening of a full moon over the ramparts of Kalmar Castle. Where an 18 year old pressed the record button on the video camera.

Not knowing what that would result in. A short movie without any manuscript, expanding into being a part of my own identity.
It almost took two years to complete the first draft of the novel version of A Trouble Within the Mind. But 11 years of brainstorming, pitching, seminars, an author course and proofreading.

Soon then, it is finally ready for the test readers. Nervous for a 29 year old, but even more nervous for the 18 year old. What if I could meet the 18 year old me. Telling myself what those actions that night would lead to 11 years later. The most fascinating thing about creativity. How that small seed, a thought, continues to grow, and might not finish growing yet.

I’ve tried to upgrade to 4K with AI in After Effects, with some success. Another challenge was to decide what content to keep, while trying to keep it close to the original video and reimagining it to match the modern journalistic content, after Assar03 Productions reformed into Stongdal Media in 2015.

Sadly, the original file was no longer in my system, though I believe this remaster is still worthy of a Stongdal Media production, and align with all the other Ironman Kalmar Sweden videos I’ve produced.

Now, watch the complete Ironman Kalmar Sweden series in my full playlist. With only 2017 and 2018 being absent since I had employment by Kalmar’s local newspaper. Perfect to show on the tv in the background if you’re interested in triathlons, Kalmar or just want some beautiful content. Running for a total of 1 hour 14 minutes and 44 seconds.

2 weeks since it was published, and how’s it going for Stongdal Medias Ironman Kalmar Sweden 2025 content?

Well, in its first two weeks, it is the content with the most interactions ever, compared with any other productions on my channel. It is also the video on my channel that has the most viewers who finish watching the entire video. Reaching up to 50% of all viewers.

Ironman Kalmar 2022 still exceeds though in total amount of views in its first two weeks, having over 9000.

Some fun comments:

“really didnt know until the Video finished and i saw that your Username. I legit thought its some official Video. Pro!”

And even Google Search AI recommends Stongdal Media productions above Swedish national television, SVT. (No offense SVT, I am always available here when you need me 😉). Well, I would say that this production is a huge success, from the last two years!
