We are proud to welcome Blues Pills to the Firefly Family 💛

Infamous for their charismatic performances, the rock quartet Blues Pills had a fast journey of international success. They went straight from dirty, crowded bars to playing at some of Europe’s biggest festivals such as Download, Rock am Ring, Wacken Open Air and Roskilde. Their self-titled debut album went straight into the European charts and hit #4 in Germany and their second album Lady in Gold landed a #1 in Germany. Blues Pills is a heavy dose of pure rock power, and with hundreds of thousands of sold records and one of today’s strongest rock vocalists, this band is here to stay.

Under the layers of heavy psychedelic blues rock and Elin Larsson’s soulful and powerful voice, often compared to Janis Joplin, Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and Adele, the core of Blues Pills has always been the restless search for change. Change in the human mind and the musical influences they embraced themselves with, from blackened soul to the trippy rides through 60’s rock music and the devils blues. In 2020 Blues Pills released their critical acclaimed self produced and recorded album Holy Moly! mixed by Grammy Award winning Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iggy Pop, Adele, Black Sabbath, Rival Sons, Hozier et al).

New year and we are welcoming a new artist to the Firefly Family. Welcome to the wildly talented artist Jack Vallier 💛

Jack Vallier is a singer/songwriter from Bournemouth, UK. He brings a darker edge to pop with arrangements composed of synth fizzles and deep percussive pulses, combined with a unique energy to make radio-ready anthems. His songs are passionately honest reflections of his life thus far, from the trappings of young love, the complexity of relationships, the turbulent experience of moving into adulthood and his on-going battle with chronic fatigue syndrome.

Jack has amassed over 30 million streams on Spotify alone with various syncs on shows such as Grey's Anatomy and his track ‘Rebekah’ was featured on BBC Radio 1 as Tune of the Week. Jack’s success and his growing reputation as a live performer led him to supporting Dermot Kennedy over 40 shows across the UK and Europe, as well as spending the summer playing festivals including Latitude and Boardmasters.

With an arsenal of inspirational music Jack is ready to take 2022 by storm.
