Welcome to this year's Pufendorf Lectures where Professor Elizabeth Anderson will present three talks on the theme "Libertarianism, Inequality, and the Inexorable Slide to Authoritarianism".
Each year, Lund University’s Department of Philosophy invites a prominent philosopher or cognitive scientist to give the Pufendorf Lectures. The lectures are open to anyone with an interest in philosophy or cognitive science.

🗓️12 May – “The 21st-century Rise of Techno-authoritarianism”
🗓️13 May – "The Logic of Oligarchic Rule from Above and Below".

About Elizabeth Anderson:
Elizabeth Anderson is the John Dewey Distinguished University Professor of Philosophy and Women's & Gender Studies at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She specializes in moral, social and political philosophy, feminist theory, social epistemology, and the philosophy of economics and the social sciences. Professor Anderson is currently working on the history of egalitarianism.
