MB Disco presents: BELOW @ Moriskan – Chapter 2

We're back in the basement of Moriskan for the second night of Below – where sweat drips from the ceiling and the music dives deep. Nu-Disco, Deep House, cosmic grooves, and underground house in an intimate setting for true dancefloor lovers.

The theme for the evening is Italo Disco – the romantic, synth-laden genre that set the dance floors of the 80s in motion. It’s also a natural meeting point for tonight’s two guests: Johan Agebjörn (of Sally Shapiro) and Rune Cosmic (Disco Vendetta), two devoted collectors, DJs, and producers with Italo in their musical DNA.

The night begins with a tribute to the early wave of electronic disco – emotional, cosmic, and retrofuturistic. As the night deepens, the tempo rises with Nu-Disco and House in various shades – from hypnotic to hedonistic – but always with the heart on the dance floor.

Johan Agebjörn is the producer behind the cult duo Sally Shapiro, known for their iconic album Disco Romance. He has also written music for Samantha Fox, remixed Lindstrøm and Glass Candy, and performed everywhere from Berghain to the Pitchfork Festival.

Rune Cosmic is a Danish vinyl DJ and co-founder of the legendary Copenhagen collective Disco Vendetta. Since 1983, he has filled dance floors from Silkeborg to Paris and Berlin – including the iconic Kit Kat Club – with his unique mix of Italo, cosmic disco, and raw club energy.

Behind it all are Martin Brodin – DJ, producer, and founder of MB Disco – together with club veteran Tomas Lund. Together, they create a night where analog warmth, nostalgic electronics, and cosmic grooves make the dance floor glow.

This isn’t just a club night.
This is Below.
