It's getting close to the end of the road now, just a few days left on the skånes coasts, and then it's a 3.5 month wait. Then there's Denmark. I've heard they have a few fish there too. 🫣

Look at these spots! What a beautiful seatrout!

It's not easy finding sea trout that are willing to bite, it's actually extremely difficult.

We need the sea temperature to drop, but that won’t happen before the season is over. So I just have to make the best of it.

Sometimes it’s really nice to catch your own dinner, fresh and organic fish. (Well)

Big fish are not so good to eat because of heavy metals and other stuff. For me, a fish around 50+ is a good size to eat :)

We’re seeing many seatrout starting to take on their spawning colors now, and the bright, silver ones are getting harder and harder to find.

For those of us fishing in southern Sweden, this also means that the sea trout season is coming to an end, and we have to wait! which for many of us feels like an eternity.

In the meantime, we can visit waters where fishing is still allowed, but we still need to be extra careful and let the colored fish do what they need to do, keep swimming, and reproduce 😉
