Lund University’s Pufendorf Institute asked us to contribute something to their exhibition-slash-conference last week. What is Lost/What is Found looked at the reshaping our lives around AI, the uneven distribution of digital exclusion, and the multifaceted interplay between cultural imaginaries and technological development.
We gave them a vacuum cleaner that looks like a baby.
Sadly/thankfully, the Fabian 3000 isn’t available in shops. It’s not even an actual physical object. Rather, it’s a commentary on a) our reactions to anthropomorphised technology, and b) the dangers of letting academics and creatives collaborate without proper supervision. Brrrr!
