دعوة للمشاركة في معرض كوميكس
جسدي بهجتي وألمي
الجسد.. ندخل العالم من خلاله وعندما يتوقف عن العمل تنتهي الحياة.
وما بين الموت والحياة يصمد الجسد أحيانا ويخذلنا أحيانا أخرى. الجسد هو مصدر للسعادة والألم وموضوع لتسلط الأفراد والأنظمة. الجسد يرقص، يتذكر، يواجه ويتقهقر، وربما هو أكثر شيء له القدرة الكاملة على تقبلنا وحمايتنا.
نولد بأجسام صحيحة وأخرى غير مكتملة، محاصرين بتصورات مسبقة عن الجمال وفق معايير محددة، دونها يُوصم الجسد ويندرج تحت تصنيفات معيبة. نتركه وحيدا يتعامل مع الأعباء، الوصم، الرغبة، وأيضا مع الحب والشغف.
كيف نعبر عن رحلة هذا الجسد؟ كيف نتفاعل بأجسادنا مع الآخرين؟
وكيف نحاصر داخل أجسادنا نبحث عن الحرية ونتطلع إليها؟
حتى إن شعرنا بالغربة داخل جسدنا ، لا نملك الخيار بتغييره ونحتاج إلى مَن يمنحنا الحق بذلك.
تُفرض القيود عليها، وتوضع الحدود التي تسلبنا حق التجول بحرية بالسلطة الممنوحة للبعض، ورغم كل ذلك تمنحنا أجسادنا أوقاتًا من السعادة والبهجة.
الفنانات العزيزات /الفنانون الأعزاء، تدعوكم/ن مزج للمشاركة في معرض للقصة المصورة عن (الجسد). شاركونا تصوراتكم/ن عن الحب والأذى، وعن الجسد في مواجهة التمييز وتقييد حركته وحريته. وكذلك عن سلامته صحيًا ونفسيًا في ظل ما يتعرض له من استهداف وتنمر بسبب الشكل أو اللون أو النوع ، أو غياب ثقافة قبول الآخر.
أرسلوا لنا قصصكم/ن المصورة على إيميل [email protected] تحت عنوان ( جسدي، بهجتي وألمي).
آخر موعد للتقديم للمشاركة 31 يوليو 2022 .
سوف يتم اختيار خمسة أعمال لطباعتها في فانزين ضمن فعاليات المعرض سيتم بيعها لصالح الفنانين المختارين، وسوف يتم مراسلة كل من وقع عليهم الاختيار للمشاركة.
إرشادات التقديم
• عدد صفحات القصة خمسة كحد أقصى.
• المقاس A4 بصيغة PDF جودة طباعة.
• يتم قبول الأعمال بالأبيض والأسود أو الألوان.
• اللغة عربية أو إنجليزية.
• تعريف بسيط عن الفنانة/ الفنان المتقدمين لا يتجاوز 100 كلمة.
• يجب ألا يتجاوز العمل الفني أية معايير أخلاقية من شأنها التقليل من نوع أو جماعة ما.
ِA call for participation in a comic exhibition
My body is my pleasure and pain.
We enter the world through it, and when it stops working, life ends. Between life and death, our bodies sometimes they withstand, but other times they fail us. The body is a source of both pleasure and pain, and also a domination subject between individuals and systems.
The body dances, remembers, it confronts and retreats, and between all of that it may be the only thing that has the full capacity to completely accept and protect us.
Either we are born with healthy or incomplete bodies, we are trapped in preconceptions of beauty criteria, and without them, the body is stigmatized and falls under flawed classifications. It stands alone in dealing with burdens, stigma, desire, and also with love and passion.
How do we express the journey of this body? How do our bodies interact with others? And how do we get trapped inside our bodies aspiring for freedom?
Even if we feel alienated inside our bodies, we do not have the choice to change them and we need someone’s else permission to do so.
Restrictions and limits are forced upon them by some people who has been given the power and authority to do so, and yet our bodies manage to give us happiness and joy.
Dear artists
Mazg invites you to participate in a comic exhibition about (the body). We want you to share with us your artistic vision about passion and suffering. About the body that faces discrimination or freedom restrictions. As well as its wellbeing when being bullied due to gender, colour, shape, or the absence of acceptance in some societies.
Please send us your comic stories on [email protected], and insert ( my body.. pleasure and pain) in the subject.
The submission deadline is 31st of July.
Five comic stories will be chosen to be published in a fanzine and will be sold during the exhibition.
Submission guidelines
• The story must not exceed 5 pages.
• Format: High resolution PDF.
• Size: A4
• Language: Arabic or English .
• A bio about the artists must not exceed 100 words.
• The artwork should be respectful to all cultural and ethnic groups.
