2025 - what a season.
As the year has come to an end, we just want to take a moment to say thank you and look back on what has been an intense, emotional, and incredibly motivating season for us at Speedy’s Racing.
2025 gave us a lot to celebrate:
We became European Champions for the sixth time in a row, and along the way we set a world record… and then went even quicker and beat our own record. Those are results we’re extremely proud of, but they didn’t come easy.
This has been the closest and toughest racing we’ve ever had in Super Twin Top Fuel. Tight finals, razor-thin margins, and strong competition all season long. And honestly, that’s exactly how we like it. Racing against Per and the rest of the field has been a real pleasure, and it’s that level of competition that keeps pushing us to improve. When the competition is strong, everyone gets better, and that’s good for the sport.
We’ve also seen a lot of new faces following along this year, both online and at the track. Our social media has grown more than ever, and it genuinely means a lot to us that so many people enjoy coming along for the ride whether that’s at races, in the comments, or stopping by our Open House. Even when the weather tried its best to ruin it this year, people still showed up, and that support doesn’t go unnoticed.
Looking ahead, we’re far from done.
Our goal for 2026 isn’t to be a one-hit wonder chasing a single record run. We want to be consistently fast. We want to be in the 6.0s at every race, and we hope to visit the 5s often. And just as importantly, we want to fight for championships by being the most consistent and competitive team out there.
This winter, the bike will see major updates across the board: aerodynamics, engine performance, ignition, clutch, gearbox and more. There are a lot of exciting (and slightly crazy) ideas in the works, and if history tells us anything, people will probably be talking again 😅
