Where is Rub-a-dub studios?!
Make Analog Great Again
After the recent hacking of our instagram account it might be a good time to do a quick update of where Rub-a-dub are and why.
March 2023 we had a second flooding. Water came up in a old concrete plugged well. It damaged a lot of old stacked equipment. The process also uncovered that this basement actually is quite water damaged and damp throughout the whole studio AND have unhealthy radon levels.
The solution is to install ventilation. It has started and is about to finish up. And ventilation is something that is really needed.
The next step is to do A LOT of restructuring and reconstruction.
Financially it’s a big setback, not only because it being a source of income but also to reset everything or rebuild and build new.
We hope to do a fundraising action in the future. Some kind of music event. Maybe this year. If you want to play or contribute, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
And about the hack/takeove of the account:
Meta accounts might just be another arm of the digital devil that - again - isn’t reality.
When the studio is all set and we can take new nice photos, our means of communication will be at Rubadub.se, [email protected] (just at this moment that server just went down. What a coincidence…) and maybe Mastodon and/or Bluesky.
