😂 Book blooper!
I am so grateful for the handful of beautiful people close to me who are now reading first 9 chapters of theChange My Mind book before it goes to the editor. "1st readers" are en essential part of writing a book. I had to laugh the other day when one of them found the following wording rather strange: "Another miracle was when my son became deathly ill..." Here is the revised version.

God healed my son of a food allergy when someone came to us with a prayer drenched piece of cloth. We laid it between his pillow and hi head and he was totally healed the next day! That was a miracle!

HI! I'm on chapter 8 of the Change My Mind book about my trip to Nashville and how it changed me.
I met people from the Christian Music Industry and the homeless who were everywhere downtown. Mixed feelings: the audition gave me concrete criticism I needed, flew back home wondering if I could ever could get the demo to a CD.....

Progress on the The Change My Mind book:

This summer, among many other things, I've been working on the graphics to be used in the first five chapters of the book I am writing about my journey from stress to rest. I am an artist (illustrator and painter), and could easily create my own illustrations if I really wanted to, but I love the results I am getting through AI prompting.

This pic depicts when I was "lost" in waves of the love of God while on the floor of a school auditorium. It was probably the most humbling and yet wonderful experience I have ever had.

During my time as an art teacher I came to love Pop Art as an illustration technique. Using AI prompts to create the pop art inspired illustrations for the ebook version has saved me tons of time. For this I am thankful!

I just wanted to give you a sneak peak as I go along the process of writing my first long book. I am editing chapter five of twelve and Johan, my husband is beginning to proofread and give me feedback on the completed chapters.

I had a concert in Copenhagen at an art gallery in the beginning of the summer where I got a chance to speak and sing about the book. Each chapter is based on a specific period in my life and a song from the Change My Mind album (2020). I would love to continue to do concerts in the future. We'll see....

It takes time to write something so personal and deep so that will encourage and inspire others to find the rest that only Jesus gives. But I am giving it my best. Please keep me in prayer! Thanks.❤️
