How to Apply for a Canadian Visa on Your Own Without a Consultant đ¨đĻđ¨đĻ
If you want to apply for a Canadian visa on your own, this guide is for you. By following the steps below, you can easily complete the application process.
1. Initial Preparation
First, search for âIRCCâ in the search bar. Go to the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) website and click on the GCKey button to create a GCKey account. When creating the account, you will need to save your email address, password, and security questions. After the account is created, you will use these details to log in.
2. Start the Application
Log in to your GCKey account and click on the âStart an applicationâ button. Then select âApply to come to Canada.â Choose the visa category, such as âVisitor Visa, Study, and Work Permit.â Then answer the questions that follow, for example: âWhat is your current country?â Here, select Bangladesh.
3. Upload Required Documents
After answering the questions, you will be provided with a list of required documents. You will need to complete the following three PDF forms with the correct information:
1. Application Form (IMM5257)
2. Family Information (IMM5245)
3. Schedule 1 (IMM5227)
Upload the following required documents:
1. Application form
2. Travel history (visa and immigration entry-exit stamps)
3. Passport copy
4. Bank statement and bank solvency
5. Recent photo
6. Travel itinerary, hotel reservation, invitation letter, or sponsorship documents
7. Family information
8. Schedule 1 form
9. Client information or cover letter
10. Employment certificate or office ID card or NOC (No Objection Certificate)
Scan and upload all the required documents.
4. Payment
After uploading the documents, you will be prompted to make a payment. You can pay through an international credit card or debit card.

âĸ Biometrics Fee: 85 CAD
âĸ Total: 185 CAD
5. Biometrics
After making the payment, you will receive a biometrics request email. You need to book an appointment through VFS Global to provide your biometrics. At the appointment, VFS will take your fingerprints and photograph. Once biometrics are completed, your passport will be returned to you.
