Recorded in Uppenbarelsekyrkan, Hägersten, in February 2026, this new recording of Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem features a unique setting for male choir, chamber ensemble, and soloists, conducted by Cecilia Rydinger 🎼

The recording brings together Hanna Husáhr and the acclaimed male choir Orphei Drängar in a powerful interpretation of one of the choral repertoire’s most beloved masterpieces.

Released in collaboration with Naxos and Proprius Records, the album is now available on streaming platforms worldwide 🎧

Endre Aaberge Dahl guests the Kirsten Flagstad Festival in Hamar ✨🎶

The festival presents a varied programme, and Endre first appears in a lieder recital at Domkirkeodden together with fellow soloists and two pianists, performing works from the German Lied repertoire 🎼

To mark the festival’s 20th anniversary, the Kirsten Flagstad Festival presents one of its most ambitious productions in many years: Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Endre takes on the role of Tamino in this semi-staged performance with the Jönköpings Sinfonietta at Hamar Kulturhus 🎭

Blending concert and opera, the production places singers and orchestra at the centre, while costumes, theatrical elements, and a streamlined narrative bring the story to life.

Hanna Husáhr performs at Skansen together with Arméns Musikkår in Sweden’s traditional National Day celebration ✨🎶

The evening programme at Sollidenscenen constitutes the official celebration of Sweden’s National Day and is broadcast live on SVT 📺

As tradition dictates, the Royal Family arrives in a carriage procession, followed by ceremonial speeches, presentation of flags, flag-raising, and the national anthem 🇸🇪

On stage, Hanna Husahr is joined by Lisa Nilsson, Åsa Jinder, Tjuvjakt with Simon Strömstedt, Magnus Carlson, Tensta Gospel Choir, and the Armed Forces’ performing artists together with Arméns musikkår 🎼

The evening is hosted by Anne Lundberg and Fouad Youcefi 🎤

Rickard Söderberg celebrates Sweden’s National Day in the traditional festivities at Stortorget in Malmö ✨🎶

The programme begins at 12:00 on June 6, 2026, with Rickard Söderberg serving as host of the celebration. He will also perform together with Johan Reis 🎤

The artistic programme features Siw Malmkvist, Malmö Akademiska Kör, Johan Reis, and Malmö Brandkårs Orkester 🎼

The official ceremony includes speeches by County Governor Peter Danielsson and Chair of the Municipal Council Carina Nilsson, as well as a performance by Malmöflickorna.

Together with the City of Solna and the Royal Court of Sweden, the Royal Swedish Opera Kungliga Operan invites audiences to its traditional National Day celebration on June 6.

Johanna Rudström and Karl-Magnus Fredriksson perform together with the Royal Swedish Orchestra (Kungliga Hovkapellet), the Royal Swedish Opera Chorus, and dancers from the Royal Swedish Ballet in a festive programme featuring highlights from the opera and ballet repertoire, as well as Swedish early-summer music and community singing 🎭🎼

Under the baton of Martyn Brabbins, Peter Mattei performs Mahler’s celebrated song cycle Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen together with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra 🎼

The programme also includes Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36, one of the composer’s most powerful and dramatic symphonic works.
