A summer tip from Vidvinkel Magazine! A lot of galleries in Stockholm are closed for the summer but Stockholms Fotoantikvariat is open and currently exhibit works by Catharina Gotby!

Excited about tonights opening of Stockholm New at Thielska Galleriet!

Opening reception of Ruvan Wijesooriyas exhibition with photographs from his upcoming photo book about Sweden!

Ruvan is an american photographer and his storytelling through photography blurs the lines between life, art and commerce in subject areas ranging from landscape to fashion and music. We can proudly say that Ruvan participated in Vidvinkel Magazine #2 and also in the exhibition Vidvinkel + Ruvan at Berns in 2009 where parts of his project about Sweden was shown.

Finally spring in Stockholm and a perfect day to visit some new exhibitions! Starting with the opening reception of "Berättelser för en 87 år gammal dam" (Stories for an 87 year old lady) by Helga Härenstam.

From the age of eight, Helga Härenstam has collected her diary notes and in addition to that, photographs from 2009-2011 which has become a memory book for helself in case she becomes forgetful as an old lady. The images are being presented randomly just like the brain works when we let our mind wander and they illustrate her diary notes at the same time as they create a parallel story on their own.

The visitors are encouraged to share a memory of their own to be a part of Helga Härenstams next art project.
