Throw back to the best moments of this year's Gold Coast Film Festival.

A fantastic opening night of Renée Webster's latest film How To Please A Woman What a feast for the senses! Make sure you go and see it. In cinemas around Australia at the moment.

As a part of the WIFT Australia steering committee and the WIFT Queensland event's manager it was a true honour to be meeting with the writer/director/cinematographer and legend Jane Castle and attending the screening of her film When the Camera Stopped Rolling - film and hosting her Q&A. After the film we hosted an open conversation that welcomed all the thoughts and triggers that this film presented to us as an audience.

Also managed to catch Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic debut feature film "Murina" which won Camera D'Or in Cannes 2021 (co-produced by Martin Scorsese) and was inspired by the lead actress Gracija Filipovic and the short film "Into the Blue" which I co-produced in 2017.""

A very memorable and uplifting experience. Thank you for this year!

Day 3 of the largest media conference in Australia. 850 people attended in person and gave it their all. Meetings, pitches, lunches, dinners, dances, negotiations, deal-making and fostering new and old relationships 🤝

Fantastic to finally get to meet one of our writers on our YA-mystery drama series Ally Burnham in person, who was up from Sydney!

Our other formidable writer couldn't make it but we look forward to our next in-person meet when we can put our brains together and continue in the writer's room.

What an absolute privilege to have been able to participate in yesterday's Screen Queensland talk with legendary film producer Tim Bevan! 🙌
"Four Weddings and a Funeral", "Notting Hill, "Love Actually", "Atonement", "Bridget Jones Diaries", "Billy Elliot", "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy", "Last Night in Soho" and the list goes on and on. The talk started with his company Working Title Films's trailer. It was a much needed reminder of why I'm in the film and TV business in the first place. Why the workload is never diminishing, why we love it so passionately and why giving up on what sometimes feels like climbing Mount Everest, is not an option. Tim's films are the reason to why so many chose a career in this field and why we keep going! Thank you for inspiring us and re-igniting that much needed fire 🔥
Can't wait to watch their latest Geroge Clooney and Julia Roberts romantic comedy "Ticket to Paradise" that is currently being shot here in Queensland.
