For the last ABROADcast for what may be forever, we decided to turn our whole concept on its head. Instead of us foreigners talking about Swedes in their natural habitat, this final episode is about why Swedes go abroad and what they do while they are away from home. Whether they go abroad for love, for money, for education, or just to see the world, Swedes can be found everywhere doing all kinds of cool stuff. Sweden doesn't seem to be that big on Valentine's Day. I wasn't really that disappointed, that is until I went to the grocery store in search of those little heart candies and didn't find a single BE MINE or KISS ME engraved sugar heart. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that ABROADcast is taking the opportunity of V-Day to discuss love and relationships in Uppsala. What kind of relationships exist in this university town? How common is it for students to be 'in a relationship'? Are Swedes more - promiscuous - than people in other countries? ABROADcast has the story.
