Last day of the first year of IB school in Sweden!

I could not be more proud of these two! Transferring to a new school is hard, especially as a teenager...starting a new type of school in a new country on a different continent, well that's an incredible challenge! They are becoming global citizens, have built some incredible relationships and have overcome many fears and challenges.

Colton found a local American Football team on his own and is currently playing wide receiver as a Roedeer. Hayden has found a music school and is continuing with piano lessons.

Colton graduates MYP (Middle Years Program) tomorrow and will move on to Gymnasiet in August. Gymnasiet is upper secondary school in Sweden and is similar to high school in the USA, although in Sweden upper secondary school is 100% voluntary (yes you read that right) and is three years.
