We are proud to be part of World Aquatics Championships 2025 — the first time it’s being hosted in Singapore — and GetActive! Singapore, our nation’s annual celebration of sport and unity in the lead-up to National Day.

From filming world-class aquatic athletes to capturing community energy across GASG events, our freelance production crew, creatives, and content strategists have been on the ground (and in the water!) bringing the action to life.

Yes — it's been tiring. But it's also been energising. Because when we work on events like these, we’re reminded of why we do what we do.

Massive shoutout to our amazing team for powering through tight schedules, unpredictable weather, and endless movement with passion, grit, and good humour.

Grateful to be part of the 9th ASEAN Conference 2025, hosted by the Singapore Business Federation — an inspiring gathering of over 600 senior leaders, emerging voices, and changemakers from across ASEAN and beyond.

The conversations were timely. From the Ministerial Dialogue with DPM Gan Kim Yong and regional leaders, to the ASEANext Forum spotlighting next-gen entrepreneurs, one key message stood out: In a multipolar world, deeper regional collaboration and innovation are not just good-to-have — they are necessary.

Particularly inspired by the energy of the next-generation founders at ASEANext. As someone championing creatives and startups in the region, I believe more than ever in the power of partnerships, cross-border cooperation, and future-ready mindsets — especially as we navigate trade shifts, digital transformation, and inclusive growth together.

The future of ASEAN looks bright when we lean in, share, and shape it together.

It was a pleasure to host a Korean delegation (led by Mr Jung Han) here in Singapore last week — an enriching exchange that bridged insights from both sides of the creative and media industries.

We kicked things off with a deep dive into the Southeast Asian media landscape, followed by a casual gathering at our CreativesAtWork's office where we invited some of our partners to share about their journeys, creative practices, and innovations. A big thank you to Nicholas Tan from AUX Media, Zhuo Chen from FizzDragon and Guilherme Burgos, AI-Powered Digital Strategist and Filmmaker, for generously sharing their experiences and perspectives.

And of course, thank you to Jung Han and yeong tark Yoon for organising this visit and making the exchange possible.

Naturally, our conversation turned to the role of AI in shaping the future of creativity — and how we as creatives can adapt, collaborate, and thrive in an AI-powered industry. We all believe in building bridges across borders, and in nurturing a collaborative creative ecosystem where technology becomes a tool for empowerment, not replacement.

Looking forward to more cross-cultural exchanges and future opportunities to co-create!

Last Friday, we had the honour to join for the Creatives' Night: "AI, WHAT NOW?" jointly organised by @

shared about our works in .ai and our upcoming initiatives. The night saw an amazing mix of creatives, technologists, and storytellers and we had a great catch up and conversations with many of our freelancers and new ones too.

Thank you, Organisers for having us in the panel discussion and our fellow panelists, Claudio C. and Kelvin Lee. We’re just getting started.

Our curated team of freelancers from video production, marketing and PR, social media, and design — are built to move as one. Take this project: we were there from start to finish. Just yesterday, we wrapped a successful event launch. And now, it’s onto the social media and marketing push that follows.

The SwimSingapore launch event landed with a splash. We worked on both the event experience and the content behind it, alongside trusted partners who helped us steer through every curveball — from shifting schedules to last-minute improvements — with clarity and calm.

Video production, though, was a different marathon. Filming with kids, in water (!), during the June holidays (!!), with permits tight (!!!) and timelines tighter, was no easy feat.

But with Director Daniel Yam K*m Tim 's vision, a patient and supportive client, and a crew of freelancers who held the line at every turn — we brought it to life.

And the talents, oh the talents, they came without expectations but the splashes they made are all over the success of this video

It is an electrifying week in Singapore if you have not experienced it already! Our team at CreativesAtWork had the incredible opportunity to capture the 47th Southeast Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships firsthand.

Witnessing these young athletes from across Southeast Asia battle with such raw passion and dedication for their dreams was profoundly moving. Their energy powerfully reminded us what it means to work as a cohesive team and how electrifying it feels when everyone channels their efforts towards a common goal.

This shared vision is something our embody daily, bringing diverse perspectives together to achieve outstanding results.

As a test event for the World Aquatics Championships 2025, it's a fantastic preview of the action coming to Singapore’s state-of-the-art venues.

At CreativesAtWork, we believe in more than just connecting freelancers to jobs. We believe in nurturing potential, amplifying voices, and supporting breakthrough moments.

That’s why we’re so proud to have supported "We Can Save the World", a heartfelt independent film by one of our talented freelancers, Chai Hong Cheng. From the early stages of development to last week’s media preview screening, we’ve watched this story grow — and seeing it come to life on the big screen was truly moving.

This is Chai Hong’s first feature film — a deeply personal and powerful story that captures the hope, idealism, and quiet courage of youth who believe they can make a difference. And isn’t that the kind of story the world needs more of?

Making film in Singapore is hard — let alone an independent one — this moment reminds us why we do what we do. Because every freelancer deserves the chance to shine, to tell their story, and to create work that matters.

We can’t wait for more people to watch We Can Save the World when it’s officially released. Until then, we’ll keep doing what we do best: championing local talent and helping creatives build careers — and defining moments — on their own terms.
