We’re excited to share a major industry milestone. Doc Edge, New Zealand’s award-winning, Oscar®-qualifying international documentary festival, is officially launching a Singapore edition on 11–15 March 2026 — the country’s first dedicated international documentary festival.

For Singapore’s documentary community, this is a rare and valuable bridge to global pathways: festival circuits, international commissioning editors, pitching markets, and co-production opportunities.

As a prelude, Doc Edge and Singapore Film Society are hosting two special sessions this December. Perfect for AIPRO members looking to deepen craft, expand networks, and prep projects for the 2026 festival.

AIPRO is proud to support The Storytellers of Mekong, a two-day celebration of short films and creative voices from across the Mekong region.

Organised by Singapore Film Society and Write & Eat, the event brings together filmmakers, screenwriters, and producers for screenings, panels, and conversations that cross borders.
