আফ্রিকার জঙ্গলে প্রতিদিন সকালে একটা হরিণ যখন জেগে ওঠে, সে জানে তাকে বনের সবচেয়ে দ্রুতগামী সিংহের চেয়েও জোরে দৌড়াতে হবে, নয়তো সে মারা পড়বে। আবার একই সকালে একটা সিংহ যখন চোখ খোলে, সে-ও জানে তাকে অন্তত সবচেয়ে ধীরগতির হরিণটার চেয়েও দ্রুত দৌড়াতে হবে, নয়তো তাকে না খেয়ে মরতে হবে।
