Genetics, Hatchery & Farming; 2. Nutrition, Feeds & Feeding; and 3. Processing Marketing & Branding, respectively. To implement Precision and Productivity, we have to measure ourselves. One of the Asian shrimp industry's weaknesses is the fragmented value chain.
Each segment of the value chain, from genetics, hatchery, farming and feed to cold storage & processing, only looks after its own business. When push comes to shove, value chain dysfunction occurs.
