挥别以往抒情歌的框架，Elton 李泓伸首次挑战亲情主题，以全新单曲《该怎么放手》细腻诉说人生不同阶段所面临的离别，以及如何学习坦然面对与释怀。步入人生新阶段（本科毕业）的他，坦言心境已然蜕变，希望尝试创作与诠释更多元的音乐主题。初听歌名，《该怎么放手》或许像是一首伤感情歌，但细品歌词便会发现，字里行间暗藏线索，悄然指向歌曲背后温暖而真挚的亲情内核。
