First time visiting the Sekinchan Paddy Field 🌾
Sekinchan is breathtaking when the paddy fields bloom in full force. Twice a year, the fields turn lush green (March–May, September–November), and later transform into a golden sea (May & November) before harvest. Truly the “Rice Bowl of Selangor”!

At PLS Marketing, I got a glimpse into the rich history and culture of rice farming in Malaysia. Their Pearl Rice (珍珠米) is a local specialty, and I couldn’t resist trying the handmade fishballs, fresh butter sweetcorn, and yes… I bought their fish crackers too!
Driving further down, we stopped at Sekinchan Mango King (华仔芒果园) for the famous Mango Shake, coconut water, fruit rojak, and even stinky tofu (臭豆腐). The mango smoothie with sour plum powder, pretty thick is a must-try!
